A full week has passed since Senate Leader Phil Berger (R-Rockingham) called on Attorney General Roy Cooper to take a stand and fight President Barack Obama’s unconstitutional attempt to strip the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding North Carolinians -- only to be met with radio silence.
“Roy Cooper has a serious problem of misplaced priorities if he plans to spend more time and energy supporting Barack Obama’s efforts to force middle school-aged boys and girls to use the same locker room than defending North Carolinians’ Second Amendment right to protect their families,” said Berger. “Even a politically correct politician like Cooper can’t stonewall the people of this state and dodge questions forever on where he stands on President Obama’s gun grab.”
